Or maybe you want to dress up for your special night? Or maybe you want to look sexy and need to wear your specs but because you can’t see without them (I need to wear mine!!) you’re worried that they might “ruin” your sexy look … because they are the real deal …doesn’t mean that you can’t look SMOKING HOT in them… but maybe you’re not sure how to make your eyes look sexy in them? DONT WORRY!
Do you remember my post last year which told you how to look sexy in your glasses and which makeup you should choose whether you are Short sighted or Long sighted?
Why don’t you refresh your memory
I’ve got a little tip for you all who might wear glasses … Do you wear glasses?
I’ll combine some tips from celeb makeup artist Armand Beasley and show you how to
Short-sighted – glasses make your eyes look smaller
To compensate for the lenses making your eyes look smaller, you will have to focus on applying your makeup to make your eyes look bigger! Focus on using a single colour across your lids so there is a single point of focus behind your lenses. Make sure you get a strong depth of colour and make sure that you blend the edges to soften the eye shadow line. Use some white or cream eyeliner on the inside of your eye along your waterline which will make your eyes look bigger and brighter!
Using liquid eyeliner, create a sleek line emphasising the natural shape of your eye and flick it at the outer edge to extend the length of your eye. Make sure you start narrow at your inner lashes then go wider at the outer edge.
Before you apply your mascara, curl your lashes to make your eyes look wider. Mascara is an important part in making your eyes look wider but be careful to use a mascara which won’t build your lashes too much…. Have you ever put too much mascara on your lashes so they constantly hit the lenses every time you blink? How annoying is that?!
Long-sighted – works to Magnify your eyes!
Because the lenses will make your eyes look bigger, you can get away with darker shades on your lids and a dark liner along the inside of your waterline.
When you apply your mascara, take care not to clump it, as your lenses will magnify the clumps! After you apply it, wipe your mascara wand clean and use it to brush through your lashes to help you separate them out.
Think about the rest of your makeup now… because you have darker eyes, go lighter on your cheeks and lips and opt for a more neutral tone for a girlie ultra-feminine look
